DESCRIPTION
Burn gel dressing is a water-soluble gel based product, mainly composed of purified water, medical grade emulsified silicone oil, propylene glycol, glycerol and so on. It can be used for the first aid treatment of burns and scalds. INDICATION
Apply to wound coverage of burns or scalds , keep the wound moist, can be used forIdegrees and II degree burn wounds.
CONTRAINDICATION
a)Can not be used for infected wounds.
b)Can not be used for III degree burn wounds.
INFORMATION FOR USE
A)Preparation
Liquid chemical burns should immediately wipe the liquid chemicals on the skin, then wash the wound 10~15min with flowing water then use burn gel dressing products. Powder chemical burns should immediately wipe the powder then use burn gel dressing products.
B)Application
I. burn dressing
a. choose the right size of dressing , should cover the wound completely
b. apply dressing to the wound
c. use secondary dressing to fix
II. burn gel
Apply gel to the wound do not rub.
C)Dressing Change
should be changed according to doctor's advice or actual wound state.
WARNINGS
a)Single use to prevent cross infection.
b)Can not be used when the package is damaged.
c) Burn gel is used only for surface cooling treatment of burns and scalds, to prevent aggravation of injury, and to decide whether to be sent to hospital immediately after treatment according to the condition of injury, not to be used for wound treatment.
